I wanted to share with you some of my recent reads as well as some of the books found on my bookshelf. A lot of the books I actually own are hand-me-downs. I typically borrow from the library. I haven’t had a lot of time to read for fun lately as I have been taking online classes, but I am looking forward to getting back into reading once my class is over! I have a stack of to-be-read books that my mom let me borrow, as well as a long to-be-read list on my library profile. I’ll be flying to Ohio this weekend, so I’ll be able to take one of the books with me to start to make a dent in my stack.

If you have been looking for a good read, check one out these out!
1. Memoirs of a Geisha: My all-time favorite book! I have read it a couple of times. It’s a great story.
2. Shanghai Girls: If you like Memoirs of a Geisha, then this may be a good read for you! It’s a sweet story.
3. Gone Girl: I have read this book twice. If you like the movie, I recommend reading the book. It’s very interesting!
4. Shopaholic Abroad: I have read a couple books from this series and have enjoyed all of them. They are light, fun and adorable.
5. Delicious!: Food-related books are some of my favorites. This one did not disappointed. A very good story.
6. The Second Summer of the Sisterhood: I read this series when I was younger and really enjoyed all of them. A great young adult series.
7. Queen of the Tearling Trilogy: I absolutely loved this trilogy! Reading these books made me want to read more fantasy novels.
8. Lilac Girls: I have been reading a lot of historical fiction lately. I really enjoyed this story.
9. Scrappy Little Nobody: Anna Kendrick is one of my favorite actresses. I enjoyed reading about some of her adventures. Her personality shines through.
