Books:
The Gown: This was a great historical fiction. I loved how it intertwined the lives of three women, but was still easy to follow. It was really interesting learning about the women creating the wedding dress for the queen and their stories that brought them to working on the dress. Highly recommend!
TV Shows:
Riverdale: The newest season took quite an interesting turn!
Broad City: I am so sad that this was the last season. There were some wildly funny episodes this season.
Bachelorette: Of course I have been watching the Bachelorette! Honestly, I haven’t ended up liking Hannah as the Bachelorette as much as I expected. I can’t wait to see who next Bachelor is!
Handmaid’s Tale: June is on point this season. She is extremely brazen and her facial expressions are just too good! There have been so many twists and turns this season. I like how they have been diving into Aunt Lydia’s story some.
Grand Hotel: I highly recommend this new show. It’s really fun!
Podcasts:
Lauren Conrad’s Asking for a Friend: I have been a fan of LC since The Hills! I love how she brings on experts in certain fields. All the women she has brought on are women she has collaborated with in the past.
Girls Gotta Eat: Two female comedians host this show. They are pretty outrageous. They do have guests sometimes and I love hearing the relationship stories their guests share. They actually get pretty serious too.
The Rachel Cruze Show: She is a financial expert. She normally has guests on who either share their debt free successes or who are experts in a certain field.
Chelsea Lately’s Podcast: I love her banter with her guests.
Restaurants:
Opa’s Best: This place is so good! My whole team at work loves it. Their tzatziki sauce is the best I have ever had.
Products:
Secret on-the-go deodorant: I am so happy I found this product! So easy to throw it in my bag for riding, swimming or even work. I will definitely be taking it with me on vacation at the end of this month.
Games:
Guesstures: This is a fast-paced charades. There are different levels and it is a lot of fun!
What do you Meme: This game was a lot of fun! It is a lot like Cards Against Humanity.
Apps:
The Libby App: I have been using this App to download audiobooks from the library.
Have a great rest of your summer!
