Christmas is right around the corner! It’s crazy to think it is almost the New Year. I finished my Christmas shopping this weekend and even finished wrapping my gifts. Now I am catching up on The Voice and snacking on my favorite PB & J bites from Sprout’s.

Let’s start with last weekend’s adventures. From Trader Joe’s I had picked up a container of the Turkey Apple Cranberry Salad, a bag of the Harvest Salad mix and a premade Harvest Chicken salad. The turkey salad is so good! I like eating it with crackers. One day for lunch I devoured the entire container. I also used it on the Angelic Bakehouse Sprouted 7 Grain wraps from Sprout’s. The Harvest Salad was great for meal prep. The Harvest Chicken salad is my favorite premade salad from Trader Joe’s. I picked up another one for this week. I had been wanting to try this salad for a while, but was hesitant because of the Dijon dressing. It ended up being great.

From Trader Joe’s I also picked up Greek yogurt and pomegranate perils. For breakfast I have been eating the yogurt with the perils, almonds and almond butter. Once I ran out of the pomegranate perils, I had the yogurt for almond butter and apple butter. It was a great combo! Another great combo I have been loving is the Cedar’s Sundried Tomato Hummus with the Simple Mills Sprouted Grain crackers. First, I tried the garlic and herb flavor of the crackers, which were pretty tasty. Tonight, I ate the hummus with the jalapeno flavor. These were great! I like the jalapeno flavor the best.

Last weekend I did a little bit of shopping. I bought new boots from Dillard’s and a new dress from Lucky. I had been on the search for new boots for a while. The dress is super cute and is perfect for the holidays. While I was out shopping, I stopped at Nektar for a smoothie. I tried smoothie with almond butter, banana, cashew milk, agave and pea protein. I also added chia seeds. It was delicious and tied me over. For lunch while I was doing errands, I stopped at Crossroads coffee and grabbed a chicken salad wrap with iced tea. Their iced tea had a strong herbal flavor, but it was okay. The wrap was good.

This week was my last early morning week at work. I have been all about the snacks this past week with my funky schedule. The Sweet and Salty bars from Trader Joe’s have been making their way into my purse all week. They are a great on the go snack. Another great snack is the yogurt crackers from Sprout’s.

We had a potluck on our last day of training and someone brought in a Double Chocolate bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. The frosting was my favorite part. So yummy!

This weekend I have been making easy pizzas using the sprouted grain wraps. I topped them with sauce, cheese, pepperoni and leftover sweet potatoes. I had gotten the frozen Fire Roasted Sweet Potatoes from Cascadian Farms and have been eating them all week. I know it may sound weird to put sweet potatoes on my pizza, but when I was in Korea this was a staple. Pizza always came with sweet potatoes.

Yesterday I stopped my World Market to finish my Christmas shopping. They have some great options for stocking stuffers. You can find face masks, soap, chocolates and so many other fun gifts.

This morning I finished reading White Chrysanthemum. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Happy Snacking!
